Neurotin Lawsuit Goes to Trial
The first Neurontin suicide lawsuit against Pfizer gets underway today in Boston. The case is being billed by many, including even the trial judge, as an underdog of the Creed-Balboa variety. Pfizer has not set aside a reserve to deal with any of the Neurontin lawsuits.
Mark Lanier is Plaintiff’s lead attorney. That’s where the Creed-Balboa metaphor breaks down. Very quickly.

I was put on this medicine after I had had hip surgery. Soon after that, it started affecting me. One day my Mother and I were driving down the road and she asked me if there was anything wrong, and I told her that I was fine. One month after I had had hip surgery I fell at a Department Store. I broke my jaw and I am still having trouble with my hip and my back.
