Breast Cancer Lawsuits
Posted On: June 2, 2009
The Doctors Company provides a list by Dr. Richard E. Anderson of 39 ways for doctors to get sued for for not properly diagnosing breast cancer or failure to properly treating breast cancer after it has been diagnosed (via Day on Torts, via Eric Turkewitz's New York Personal Injury Attorney Blog).
As John Day points out, this is a good checklist for lawyers screening potential breast cancer malpractice cases.

I took estrace and provera for several years. I saw the messages on television and questioned my doctor, Dr. Herbert Winer. He said try to wean yourself off of it if you can. It took about three months to get completely off but I finally did. October 7, 2011 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The pathology report said 91% ER and one and 92% ER on the other tumor. Both tumors are in my left breast. I am scheduled for a mastectomy November 21, 2011. I deserve compensation for my pain and suffering and the loss of my breast. Are you the law firm I have been looking for?
